What is the difference beetween ladder character and normal one?(in multiplayer)

Ladder chars have access to more runewords, cube recipes, and unique items.

So why should anybody deselect that option?

Most don't. Ladder seasons end every once in a while, and all current Ladder chars are forced into Nonladder. Some people also choose to play NL since they may have more items there.

Ladder is "better" because of the reasons mentioned above. However, you can't stay there forever; once the season is over, you're forced over to Nonladder. If you wish to continue playing Ladder, you'll have to start a fresh char and start over on the new Ladder.

NL is booring i play ladder only ladder and ive tryed NL but ididn't
like it
