How can I get my resists higher, without sacrificing to much MF? As of right now, I look like this:

Lvl 81

Shako PTopaz
Skullders PTopaz
Occy
SS PDiamond
Tal Ammy
Tal Belt
Chancies
2 Nagels
Trek boots

Any items you can see a switch for? Should I try and shoot for alot of resists charms? All my resists are in the negatives in hell.

- Tals armor instead of skullders
- Nats boots instead of treks

in case you weren't aware, MF has significantly diminishing returns after 300. So if it takes you 7 minutes to do a Baal run with 500 MF, or 4 minutes to do a run with 300 MF and better survival gear, you're going to find a lot better items over time with the 300 MF.

Do you have a Torch?
Also, Wizzies for a weapon. Stick the Oculus on your switch for when you make the killing blow.

I only have about 350 MF right. How expensive are Tals armor and nats boots? That will give me about how much more resists?

No torch right now, trying to trade for one. I'll try the wizzie.

Thanks for the help, hope it helps when I get the items

I play single-player, not on the realms, so I couldn't really tell you. I would guess that Nat's boots would be quite cheap (IIRC, they give 15-25% Lightning and Cold resists, as well as 40% faster run/walk, and a couple other decent mods).

Tal's armor is probably a different story, since it's quite a nice armor for a Meteorb sorc using the rest of the set (IIRC, it has 40% fire/light/cold resists, decent MF, and combined with the ammy and belt you'd get an additional +65% MF for partial set bonuses).

FYI, you can find all kinds of info about items here: http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/

The points above are good. I just replied to your same question in the Meteorb Guide thread and the most important point is that you don't have nearly enough FCR.

Use coh instead of skullders. Insane resists, dr, 2 skills. You don't need more than 250 mf, you won't see much better results and your killing speed slows down a lot.

Tals armor instead of skullders will raise both your resists and mf.

If you can't afford either the Tal's armor or a CoH, Vipermagi is cheap.
It's got up to 35 all resists, can be upgraded, has a skill, and some FCR.

I would recommend either switching the armor, or the weapon to wizardspike.

i got minus on all hell resist also with my amazon... :\ But my sorc (thank god) has some resist charms... unfortunately i thought i could go 3k blizz dmg and then chain ligh. But my 500 dmg chain ligh isn't worth anything. Cant even kill normal spawns.
