I made a "Dream" helm today, i tried it on the merc and the character (necro), only the wearer benefits from the holy shock aura. Which auras are for the caster only and which auras are for all party members?

The paladin auras do one of two things. They either affect all party members, or affect all monsters. All of the defensive paladin auras affect party members (by this, I mean the party members gain a benefit from it), with the exception of Redemption, which affects monsters (well, monster corpses to be exact). Here's a list of the auras that affect party members, and the ones that affect monsters:
