/fps question

i tired in game to type "/fps" but nothing showed up? Is something wrong with my settings or what?

You used the / key, not \ ?

Caps lock was off ?

yeao i was in game, pressed enter, typed /fps, pressed enter and nothing, no message at all. And i tried that procedure few times

There won't be a "message", but rather a bunch of thin, white text in the upper side of your screen.
