Stacked Holy SHock aura bug on A3 merc? Fact of fiction?

I have been told that there is a method to get the holy shock auras to stack on the Act 3 merc. If you equip him with a dream helm & shield, the auras stack, but thats not all. There is a way to get the auras to stack pass the listed lvl. SO you could have a lvl 50 or lvl 100 holy shock? I heard you have to drop & pick up the items very fast, then equip your merc>?

Any truth to this?

******* PS whats the best armour for an Act 3 merc? ( one with high faster cast on it? which armour has the higest FC along with other useful mods for this type of merc?)

the level on the auras don't stack however the amount of auras does, so you get 50 level 15 auras when you do it 50 times etc.

if you equip and reequip 50 times then it'll do 50 auras yes.

It should be noted that A) In pvp this is easy to overcome, B) It can also be done with two dragons (or a dragon/hoj?), and C) It's widely speculated that 'Gmercs' are a large part of the reason East went down recently.

yup dragon, hoj works equally well. also note that's it's a huge waste of time bugging items.
