Act 3 Merc question concerning items: WHICH?

Ok, I am going to make a nice Dream shield for my ACT III merc from an 3 socket ETH Monarch I found in hell cows. Now I have to find a nice ETH 3 socket for Dream helm. Then I can try the stacking auras trick :flip:

My question is: my ACT III merc is a cold merc & I am a lvl 90 trapper. What are some suggestions for:

swords? I was thinking ali baba socketed with 2 MF jewels ( 9-10% each jewel)

OR

a spirit runeword sword.

Armour? ( Stealth runeword in an ETH 2 socket Balrog armour?)

is this merc going to be used for pvp or pvm? if pvp definately go with the spirit and maybe a viper armor w/ um for some nice res? the ali baba would probably make for some excellent mf. hopefully you dont run into any light immunes :P.

how exaclty does thisw bug work? do you need dragon armor and dream helm and sheild? can u only have 1 piece??
