Torch swap bugg??

I tried trading my assassin torch for barb torch on trading window, and someone said that they've seen it before on screen trade windows...but when we were trying to accept the trade, it wouldn't let us accept...i had 16 slots...available, i bet he had space too, Why wont it trade??? ERGG I HATE THIS BNET THING. HELP??

You can trade torch/anni/gheed in trade window as long as you're not trading the same item type, so trading torch for runes are fine, but trading torch for another torch is not. Apparently the game thinks that's two torches on one char, so disallows it.

kuafu is correct. In the case of Torch for Torch, you can still drop trade. I recomend checking the other person's torch out in the trade window first.

the thing is....the other person doesn't trust me...even torch for torch, i convinced him that one person cannot have 2x torches at the same time...he thinks i use some hack or bugged dropped game or soemthing...that' sad, pathetically

He's not "sad" or "pathetic," but rather just cautious and he has a right to be. I don't know if he knows you from this forum or if he is just someone you met on bnet. I wouldn't have traded my torch either if it was just on bnet and I have no way of knowing if I can trust you.

Perhaps next time you could refer him to the diabloii.net site and get in contact with a Trade Mod.
