Using Potions

I was dueling someone is Pvp, and I totally pwned him. But then when he wanted a reduel, I told him to hold on, cuz i had to get potions. He seemed suprised in a way that I was cheating. Was I cheating? This is my first pvp character, and ive never been told that using potions is wrong. Is it wrong?

Healing Potions are widely considered Bad Manners in PvP. You shouldn't use those to win.

As for Mana Potions, they're accepted by some, not accepted by some.

Rejuvs and healing potions are considered as Bad Mannered (BM) while manapotions are allowed to everything with an exception of ES sorcs.

In a lot of 'dueling leagues', you can't mana pot.

But I dunno how they'd tell if you did or not.
