1x Question about merc for a summoner

Hi,

I was asking myselft wut type of merc should i use for pvm summoner skelleton melee/revive : might merc or defiance merc? I think defiance will be better cuz my merc will use thorn aura, so higher def+thorn aura=more dmg they will do cuz they'll stay alive longer but i dont know.. (btw, ill using beastz, merc pride+bramble, just dunno about might ou defiance merc.)

Might merc definitely, you need the damage more than the defense. You'll find that your skellies don't die that easily to begin with.

Might without a doubt. Skeletons dont die that often, and if they die you can be sure there will be at least one corpse nearby to raise a new one...
Increasing their damage by 50% is well worth it.

yep a might merc and with thorns they will be killing even faster... defaince merc is only usefull for a bone mancer, even then I would choose a HF over a defiance

If you had thorns on your army & you use a defiance merc, that'd mean your army would get hit less. That'd kinda take away from the good that the Thorns aura would do for you & your army.
If you can afford it, you may wanna consider using an act 1 merc with a Faith bow. You could equipped a Bramble on her also & it would eliminate the risk of your merc dying from Iron Maiden.

Another reason for might, is so tht your merc himself will kill faster, and especially at the start, when you have no skeles to work with.

I use last wish on my ladder necro & Faith on my merc. I keep a wizardspike in my inventory also. With last wish & Faith, i have might + Fanat & IM doesn't scare me :D

i used a defiant merc with the same setup and it worked great in combo with amp. it also works great with a golemmancer.
