Why can't I log in??

Hey, I've been trying to log into the forums today and couldn't seem to be able to. Whenever I do, I get an error message that says that my Username or Password isn't correct. Then I give it my E-mail address and it says that the E-mail address isn't in the data base. I already contacted the administrater about 1 week ago and have yet to get a response. My previous account name was SoulPaw.

I've tried logging in on both my computers (the other one started not working about a week ago), and neither work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe you, when registering, entered a different E-mail?

Also, are you sure you didn't lately change your password into something else? Or have you been using the remember me thing and forgot your password totally?

Yeah, I use two different computers (one for school, one for gaming), and I tried logging in with my school computer a week ago and it didn't work. However, I had the "remember me" on my gaming computer. So I didn't really worry too much about it until I logged out this morning. I believe that the email I used was ThLiOp@hotmail.com, of course I could be mistaken since I registered about 3 years ago.

I'm pretty sure that I know my pw, since I logged in just a couple of weeks ago. And I didn't change it.

If you need further proof, then I can PM you my acct. (SoulPaw) and my pw on B.net.

Edit: I typed in ThLiOp@hotmail.com when registering for ThLiOp on these forums today, so I may have used a different Email, though I don't recall ever creating another Email account.

Also, there have only been 2 different pw's I have used all my life, and there may just be something wrong that has happened. But any help would be awesome.

Ok, i sent you a PM with the email that you used on the original acc, it is not the email you listed here.

Proof shouldnt be a problem as you need to verify a link in the email anyway to prove that it is you, so that we know it has gone to the right person, so dont worry about PMing me your acc details. There is no way i would log in on any members acc here anyway just incase any sort of problem ever occured.

I had same problem last week one day at work. Got 3 failed login attempts. Then I just gave up and hoped it was a glitch... which it was... Because next day when I accessed the site from work I was already logged in as usual.

Hi, this is somewhat related to SoulPaw's original post. My friend can't login to the forums; he got the same "wrong username/wrong password" error so he requested a password reset. The page says an email has been sent out but even after days it has not arrived to his email address. Is it possible that diabloii.net is experiencing some server-side glitches? I was inclined to think that maybe the email address that he entered was incorrect, but if the page verifies that an email with a new password has been sent out, it means it should be in the database? Any thoughts or suggestions on what could be wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, same thing happened to me again at work. 3 failed login attempts so I left the website. Now I'm home and as usual already logged in when I come to the forums. Weird stuff...
