Hi guys, I'm on USWest ladder and just started playing again a few days ago. I'm running your run of the mill Summon/Bone hybrid, max RS,SM, BSpear, BSpirit, 1 in dimvision, prereqs for decrep and 1 in gumby, golem mastery, and Summon Resist. My extra points are going into bonewall. I'm having some hella trouble getting my MF Started and I blame it all on resists. Most of my gear is trash but I did find a shako that's got a ptopaz in it now, my friend gave me suicide branch, and I traded for Marrow's last night. Will someone PLEASE give advice on how I can start running with *wince* -60 resists in hell? Please remember, I'm stupidly poor -.-

Hey, try getting a cheap Wizardspike Unique Bone Knife for 75% more resists.

You can get a *Rhyme* Runeword shield for resists, Cannot Be Frozen, and MF. Or, a 2 Perfect diamond Mosers Unique Round Shield for resists.

Can I make Rhyme in a necrohead? o.0

Yes you can. It means any shields after all. ;)

On another topic.. I'm currently using a pure summoner, but I just don't have anything to put skills into anyomore. So I tried making a summon/bone hybrid. I was disappointed. During the Marrowalk bug times, he was pretty decent. Now, with not so bad gear (anni, torch, eni, nec circlet, mara, boneflame etc) I got up to ~1.8k spear after maxing it, bone wall and putting some points in bone prison. It did kill some monsters, but overally, my skeletons do that as fast as the spear did.

To sum it up: bone/summon is a more fun way of playing a necro, but his efficiency isn't that much greater than that of a pure summoner.

Bone skills need quite a bit of +skill gear to be really good, whereas in a solo game, basic skeletons work pretty much just as well (with CE of course).
