Hey, I was thinking of ladder running with a windy (for the second time) and last time I went for max block and aimed for ss as my final gear. However this time, I feel as a max vita build with dual spirits would serve better for a ladder runner and pit runner as I would hit the 68 breakpoint with 2 good ones and leave most of my other gear open for mf stuff. the one thing scaring me away is the high strength requirement as i can't hel a runeword and the feeling of having no block.

Should I

a) go with dual spirits (sacrificing strength)

b) go with spirit/rhyme until (well if more like it) I get an enigma and then put on a SS (go with very low base strength, maybe enough to equip a jalals so I can wear skulders or stuff in the mean time).

c) go with spirit/rhyme and then upgrade to a second spirit after getting enigma.

This build would be strictly pvm (maybe some pubby dueling on the side early on in ladder) and I would rebuild for pvp.

Secondly, would you consider this a top 5 starting build?

I don't think it is (Javazon/blizzy/meteororb/hammerdin/necro summoner/trapsin) but my friend disagrees

for starting I feel it is like the hammerdin but worse- they both really need enigma to make their spells aim better and enigma is hard to get when starting out, but it's easier for the hammerdin to get higher damage with worse gear and still have no immune problems
dual spirits is good, because SS I feel is strictly for PvP against melee... I have spirit in PvM, and it adds great damage, good resists, and FCR and FHR which the SS just doesn't provide plus mana and so on...
