I'd go for a PB (4*Shael, 2*IAS/RES Jewel), and a Jeweler's Monarch of Deflecting with 4 Fire Facets in it.

As the fireclaw guides suggests you should use a 6 socket phase blade w/ 6 shael(or 4shael and 2 15ias jewel w/ a second mod).
About the werewolf/werebear, this is imo all preference, bear got more life and hit the 4-frame attack speed w/ phaseblade above, while wolf have a bit more ar but only hit the 5-frame attack speed.

somethimes it is actually smart to use a polearm cause of the rang difference (especially versus casters) so i do understand his questions, i had both in my inventory. This wouldnt make a difference because you need the str for monarch already:thumbsup:
hope this helped....

In the guide (Coldarmy's) it explains why you should use a giant thresher with 3x shael + 3x AR/IAS jewels for casters/smiters and a 110 IAS phase blade for anything else. But having looked at the guide you would of already known this right?!?
Your question about fireclaws bear vs. fireclaws wolf is stated in the guide as well...

jmod's dont exactly grow on trees though.:sad2:
I would go w/ a storm shield shaeled or fire faceted ...

It increases your physical damage but does not increase your fire claw damage. Thus, most do not put into wb if they go the fc route.

Yes you need one point into those in order to be able to use fire claws.
:soapbox:

'For the win' I think, Yeah I personally would use Storm over a Jmod on a bear.

Yeah, For the win... And jmod is better unless your fighting someone that does obscene physical damage like a windie or pumped up smiter. I swear shape shifted druids should have the ability to randomly block a spell when they equip a sheild to help rebalance them.
