Hello, im new to the world of paladins i never really played them, built a hammerdin once but got really bored really fast. Im mostly known forr my sorc makin skills but back on topic!

I know all teh skills to max and such but gear....

35 Hoto
198 HOZ (5/-5 light die)
Shako(5/-5 Light) <-----This becsue griffs is way to expensive even for me!
Enigma
ETreks
Trangs<---You may ask why, and i say FCR!!!
Arachs
Maras 27
SOJ
SOJ

16/17 Torch
9 Pcombs(some with life)

Now with this setup i would be hitting 5k, so with convic on, ill possibly be dishing out 10k pure light dmg a Hit!

Also my friend was talking about me getting a FOH stick, he says he has seen one,
3 FOH
3 Pally Combat Skills
5os
^Insert 5 5/-5 Facets in there for max dmg

I have never seen one! IT would be godly, but has anyone ever seen one???

SO is this a decent setup?

Get griffons with 5/-5 facet
and Foh stick and you're all set, if you can get the stick, that is...

3 foh/3 conviction ,5 sockets war scepter/divinde scepter/caduceus. 3foh/3 combat skills/5 sockets is impossible.

i see, so btw does convic caps at 25 right? so i really should only put in 8 in convic, becasue im getting a anni also, its alrady lined up, but what to do with extra points????

20 FOH
20 Holy Shock
20 Holy Shield
8 Convic
rest of points?

where should i put

+3 conviction +3 foh is useless imo. The reason is that conviction that goes past 25 is useless against non-conviction users. Why not use +2 combat +3foh or other mods that help your combats so you will have higher foh damage, which is more versatile? Foher has lots of skills left over, so putting points to achieve 25 shouldn't be a problem.
BTW my 9.5k foh was easily absorbed even with conviction. Don't be too expectant (if this is even a word, which it is not)

It's to take out stackers who thinks that 250 resists negates it, it brings down more because we stack more points in conviction

i'm not entirely sure where duff is getting his numbers from, and i'm not sure why this point needs to be repeated, but you can't get +2/3 combat skills and five sockets on a scepter. Also, duff, if you could tell us all what gear setup you used to hit 9.5k damage, it would be appreciated.

I've managed to get 8.5k and found few people that can or will stack against it. That being said, it's doable. My solution is to put another HoZ and Grief on your switch and smite any stackers you come up against. It's not extremely effective, but after all the gear that your opponent has switched to negate your lightning, they won't ne very effective either.

I'd swap the SoJs for BK rings, because you'll need the life more than the mana.

Finally, back to FoH sticks, if a griff is too expensive, the stick is defninitely out of your league. The pain required in getting one is in my mind best described as "Ultimate Suffering."

Foh stick 3/3- 25/25, griffon's 20,facet in hoz,12 pala skills ,14 combat skills is a 9.5k foh , and I have no clue how to achieve that without a foh stick. (Unless you ditch enigma).

+to conviction reduces # of points you need to get to 25 if you don't want to negate their overstack
