i have got some interesting items i have picked up (key of terror, key of hate, key of destruction, diablo's horn, baals eye, mephisto's brain and standard of heroes) i am wondering what i do with them?

i read the forum and i am curious. i found the keys in single player. will the portal work in sp.??? if you cant use them they why did they put it in sp

There is always the possibility that Blizzard will enable more of the ladder-only content for SP in a later patch.

but all i want to know is why? if or when are they going to bring out D3? and if so please dont make it like wow. I like the option you got now with d2 and thats if you want to take your character online you do and if you dont want to take it online you dont have to.
I pefer not to take them online. last time i did the were either newbies or god like characters that you couldn't even see or go near before you died and they had auras like a disco.

The keys cannot be used in Single Player. Sorry, dingo. As far as why they drop when they are essentially useless, nobody knows.

Probably because b.net treats single player like they do classic: if a patch featurehappens to work/is good then that's great, if it doesn't, then whatever.

Actually, if that's the reason why you're refraining from playing on Battlenet, don't refrain.
You're talking about Open Battlenet, while the vast majority of this forum plays on Closed Battlenet, where hacks and godly chars are minimized to actual game only features (the hacks that do circle around are minimal compared to Open Battlenet, where everyone seems to have atleast 10 different hacks)

I'd give Closed Battlenet a go if I were you :thumbsup:
