So I'm going with the werewolf.
I decided to max
werewolf, heart of the oak, and lycanthropy.
is there any point in getting any vines? in peticuliar the one which ups life?
110-130ish strength
150ish dex
rest in vitality
Is fury the best attack to max? or should something else be done?
What about weapons? does the damage matter with weapons or are we just concered about ias?
why do people seem to prefer fast weapons like grief?

why do people seem to prefer fast weapons like grief?

Because you hit faster and do more damage. However, Grief is usually a PvP weapon. Anything like.. EBoTD in a 2 handed weapon would work also.

You can make a Fury Werewolf with the skills you mentioned, plus max fury. Get a bit into Feral rage also.
