Goreriders or Sandstorm Treks for PvP Smiter

OK, before you start talking about how I'm stupid, listen to my reasoning.
Goreriders add 30% FRW, 10% OW, 15% CB, and 15% DS.
Sandstorm Treks add 20% FHR, 20%FRW, and +10-15 str and vit.
The fact is OW, CB, and DS are capped at 1/10 in PvP so they become 1%-1.5%. Not only that smiter duels don't last long enough to have all those things activated. While if you have treks, you get a lot more life (since it adds vit and str which can contribute to extra points into vit), and fhr to reach the bp. Life and fhr is essential in PvP, so I was just wondering, what do you guys think out of those two items.

Thanks. O and also I forgot to mention this but, if you have 5% fhr charms, then you can make up for 4 spaces with treks which could lead to 80 more life without BO. But also, those mods on goreriders would be good for boss killing, but I'm asking about PvP anyways.

DS doesn't work with smite.

OW is usefull vs other classes.

DS isn't capped at 10%. It is chance to do double damage,it is just that pvp damage is at 17% of normal. And yes DS won't affect smite. To answer your question, NEITHER. Get nice rares with resists/fhr/frw, or build for shadow dancers ,that will give 30 fhr,and boable vita from the dex points you'll save.

hmm the thing is rare boots are almost always unpermed and are never legit so I am scared that after spending so much money it will disappear. So yea I am just choosing between the two.... So between those two which one is better;; dont need alternatives.

Who said anything about unpermed duped rares? Plain dual resist rares with frw/fhr can drop anytime ,are filthy cheap and way better than treks vs casters/elementalists. Vs high life barbs/druids perhaps crushing blow from gores will be helpful,especially if u have some more from rest of gear.

Speaking of off-beat rares...are any of these things along those lines?(for dueling etc...) Ive been holding onto these things for awhile. Just some random stuff that I thought might be good for trading. Lmk if any of this is halfway decent!

eth trek:
15 vita = 45 life
15 str = 45 life + helps to reach that str needed
FRW = if you don't have it you'll go nuts
FHR = helps you to break 42(?) or even 86
high defense
poison resist

Now I know godly rares can spawn but I'll bet my 50 cents that eth p treks will beat any rares boots I will find in this ladder. and screw trading for it - takes too long, and probably too much if the person who knows its value holds it.

BTW the only way I'd use gores is in Ubers, where CB is godly. But because in pvp CB goes through penalties, I'll go w/' treks
