Recently I tried my hand at making a zealot a lot different from most builds.

The gear is as follows:

Andy's visage (10LL+30str)
Etheral Up'ed Shaftstop
Etheral Exile (lvl 16defi,+33 all resist, gildedshield, I know its gilded but I am poor :D)
Beast Zerker (255ed, +29 str)
Verdungos (38/14)
Wartravs
Dracul's Grasp (10LL/+15str)
Highlords
Ravenfrost (+20dex, 233AR)
Rare ring (7LL, +20str)

His skills went as follows :

Lvl 20 Sacrifice [synergy]
Lvl 20 Zeal
Lvl 20 Concentration
Lvl 20 Holyshield
Last skill undecided as to Blessed aim for +5%AR bonus, or Defiance for Def bonus.

The stat allocation is base str but my dex imo is too high, especially since I don't have an anni or Torch I was trying to achieve max block, and then the rest of the points are into Vit. I'm using +5 STR Large charms to compensate right now.

Now the point was, to have Good defence while hitting the ias BP and be able to be versatile with Auras. With Beast giving me fanat, It would allow me to switch to say, Blessed aim and hit people with high def and still maintain my IAS. Now, I don't have annihilus nor do I have a ptorch as I am lacking in funds and I haven't done anya quests yet for all difficulties but the problems I am suffering are crappy resists for one, low dmg, low AR and I'm contemplating whether hitting the 86% fhr bp is worth it.

Now my question is, is it worth it for me to remake and keep my dex lower taking into consideration I'm lacking an anni and torch? Is it important for me to have max block? Should I be using angelic rings/ammy combo? Should I ber my andy's for Max DR?

Any help, advice and or criticisms would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it's pvm I doubt remaking would make a difference. For pvp, though, every point is crucial. If you get 30 points from torch and anni on stats that go to dex unnecessarily, that's 90 life, about 150 life after bo. That's why most people including me do not make their chars until everything is complete - after stat points have been decided and skill points have been decided, and the gear I will use will have been acquired.
Not having enigma will drive you nuts if you're used to it.

Pvp wise your really lacking in the damage department.

I was hoping that by having concentration and fanat on at the same time, I could make up damage. I guess it didn't work out as planned.

It's hard to make up the damage you lose by not using grief. That's why almost every melee character uses it. Even if people hate griefs because it is so abused, the reason it is abused it because it's that good.

Well, that's not the point though, the main idea was, to be able to have fanat and defiance on while being able to use another aura to my liking, for example blessed aim or concentration. For those hard to hit types, I'd put on blessed aim in hopes of increasing the chances of hitting them, so that in this manner I can maintain my ias bp because of the fanat coming from a different source.
