Dual nova sorc, done before?

I was thinking about making dual nova sorc. It might be not the most powerfull build, but should do ok, right?...

Skills:
20 Nova
20 Lightning Mastery
20 Frost Nova
20 Blizzard
20 Frozen Orb
20 into having a strong will not to start using Frozen Orb instead of Frost Nova...:tongue:
1 Warmth,Cold Mastery, Tele1,Tele2:tongue:

Prices are much down on europe ladder, so with a cheap gear I can get decent +skills:

shako: +2
occy : +3
spirit : +2
viper : +1
arach: +1
amu : +2
Torch: +3
total == +14

Nova damage: 1425-1889
Frost Nova damage: 650-742

What do you think? Might be fun...

You would most likely want 2 Stone of Jordan on that, the plus skill is nice, but mostly because of the huge mana boost, Nova spam is expensive =)

And I would rather place some more points in Cold Mastery then maxing out Blizzard, since you dont have any synergies for it, it will be pretty weak. Plus more points in Cold Mastery give additional dmg for the cold nova

Edit: Or 2 rings with Faster Cast Rate and alot of mana

I hope Frosties, Shako and 'Insight' merc will be enough... we'll see I guess.
Blizzard is a synergy to frost nova, as well as frozen orb - thats why Im maxing them, and Id rather not put any points into cold mastery, because If I ever got those SoJs and Anni for her, I would feel like I wasted some skill points.Also :

Occy - 30
Spirit - 25-35
Viper - 30
Arach- 20
total == 105-115
so I won't need those FCR rings...:wink3:

Do you plan on lvling to 99?? You have more than 121 skill points to insert.
If you are to invest in blizzard use glacial spike as a synergy. Goes great with the Snowclash belt that adds skill pts to both GS and Blizzard.
Or to save on skill points... simply go for 20 pts in FO and 1 in CM.
FO does significant dmg without synergies making it a great conservative skill.
Don't invest 2 into tele.

the build is actually finished at lvl 97, but lower level just means a few less points into frost nova synergies.
