WBear vs Ubers?

Can a WBear be good character for killing Ubers (in Uber Tristam)? :rolleyes: If not so good as WWolf, it can be something uncommon (In this forum I found advices only for WWolf). :wink3:

i think it is possible with the right gear but it will be alot harder then with a fury werewolf. I suggest you pm valvulox about this issue, he is a known bear-expert :rolleyes:

It is possible, takes alot longer than a Vindicator (smite) to do solo. Of course only a Mauler can kill solo due to all the immunes. You'll want Life tap (dracs) and Crushing blow from Gores+Guillaume's and/or Duress.

Uber Mephy lightning+conviction can be overcome with T-gods+wisp ring or just stacked resists, you'll also want a reasonable lvl Shockwave to keep you from getting swamped.

Generally use Hunger until Life tap kicks in.

The biggest problem I found was the physical immunes (ghosts/vampires), which can mostly be ignored unless spawned in vast amounts.

As usual try to fight only one Uber at a time, best of luck.

Edit: was actually thinking that perhaps a Fireclaws bear with mass CB could work, I'll try on my next run. Btw thanks stoute :wink2:

Hunger Bears rock the house in Tristram. They're well-nigh invulnerable.

at least you can focus your maul on just a particular uber boss instead of fury which targets anything near
