View Full Version : What order of skills to have most hammer dmg?

Like the questions asks, what order should I do my skills to have the hammers do the most dmg?

I didn't have any problems maxing the skills in this order when I made my Hammerdin:

1) Blessed Hammer
2) Blessed Aim
3) Vigor
4) Concentration Aura

At the end, it doesn't matter which one you max first, though.

FYI - I have level 80 Hammydin. His damage bar says 13k-13k w/o BO.
I maxed in order:
B-Hammer - primary skill. Used in conjunction with melee attack at early stage
Vigor - so I could escape injury/run fast in the meanwhile & also prerequisite
B-aim - hammer damage requisite
Concentration - hammer damage requisite
Note: Remaining points are being dumped into Holy Shield

And to get the high-end damages, you want to have 9 Paladin +Combat skillers, Torch, Annihilus, +2 Skills armor (Enigma), Hoto, Zaka, Shako/Pala circlet, Maras/Pala amulet, 2x Sojs, Arachnid's mesh, and Battle Command. This _should_ result in 17k-ish dmg.

And Blessed hammer does the most dmg. As for the synergies, _it_doesn't_matter_as_long_as_you_max_them_all. About the order, when I first played made a hammerdin, I maxed Vigor and Blessed Aim first, then Blessed Hammer, last Concentration.

I think you are askinng in what order to max to get the most bang earlyer right? I am not sure about the answer but thought that maybe everyone has not quite understood the question...am I right? Ill do some tests and post here Friday if I can for ya.

That guide is close enough, kind of, but it's not entirely correct as it doesn't account for +skills.

If you really care that much about having the maximum damage at every clvl as you lvl up, do the math yourself, it's really not that hard... or just use a skill planner.

Blessed Hammer's base damage first get's increased by 14% for each hard point placed into a synergy skill. Then Concentration aura, the effect of which is affected by +skills unlike synergies, increases that damage at half effectiveness (i.e. 400%ed listed actually only grants 200%ed to BH).
