Setting nr of palyers works in single player.

What does it change? Do I get more exp. per kill?

In short: Yes


A bit longer:
It affects drops (more items drop), and also adds 50% per extra player to Experience and HP of all monsters that have not yet spawned. So with 8 players they have 450% HP but give 450% Experience.

Wait, so if I make a private game in which I play by myself, but set the limit to 8 players, I get more drops and more xp? Or am I missing out on something here? :D

Only works in Single Player, not on Battle.net to my knowledge.

LorveN, why not? That depends on luck and a bit on MF, right?

That, or you're stating that my MF sucks, that I always have bad luck, and that Isenhart is my best drop. In which case it's ehmmm.. Racism. :D

Oh, its nothing personal. Though as long as you expect good drops, you'll never get any. Game AI is higher than you think. I have stopped hoping for good drops, thats why I get some from time to time. When I ran meph, I got virtually nothing.

Isenharts isnt my best drop, but it sure is my most common.

MF depends on luck, only. Though, you nudge it to your advance by using mf, because of the increased chance to find unique/set/rare/magic/whatever items. The chances still are low, and without luck you'll never find anything. :azn:

Oh, forgot to mention. Boosting your mf not only increases your chance to find good items, but higher mf also generates more Isenharts cases and more cathans seal drops too!!! :wink2: They won't stop until they've conquered the entire world.
