while i am writing this thread i am the only member that is looking at this forum 02: 06 PM.
Is this forum dying or so? Where is the time that there was a new topic every 10 minutes? I want to help more peops with their questions :cry: :cry:
We are still waiting for more funny runewords, or trolling people, or maybe even someone wondering if its worth using HoW instead of oak on shapers.
I don't know really.
Maybe we're more dedicated to the game than these forums? (yeah right? :laugh: )
I admit its a little slow here. But abandoned? Hell no. Its in the middle of the day, people have work, its nice weather (atleast here) etc etc.
Abandoned = no new thread in 48 hours. Which isnt the case here.
Also, people might not want to answer questions, cos they know youre here... :grin:

Though the forum may not be as busy I believe it is the best on the site. It was this forum that lead me to make druids my primary builds. This forum made me give up my Paladin addiction for Wolves and Bears. In fact this may be the best forum if you want the opinion of pros.

I agree, people here are more helpful and less flaming. I don't see the same on other class forums.

This place is indeed friendly, there are rarely flame wars here, heck it is even possible to politely discuss pvp issues here:wink3: .
It is the only class specific-forum that I lurk at despite not having any druid chars. Once my new barb is finished I promissed myself to make a fury/rabies druid just for fun.

Back on topic ... My druid is fledgling so you may see me a bit more often (bad luck). Found a helm with moulton boulder on that looked quite fun, wonder how it copes with fire immunes ...
Nice forum though. I would rather see less frequent posting that is intelligent, then spam consisting of "I iz bst yu noooooob".

ofc it will be your build - and pvp will be my target. It's just that my e-wealth is low so the druid project has to wait a bit :cry:
I will train as a barb for it though. I am about to build a league barb where leap and tele are banned alongside aura items. Guess it will give me a taste of druid duelling.

I second that, after spending most of my web-time here, I have decided to go strictly druid... atleast after reset (still have lightsorc & zealer:lipsrsealed: )
I also agree that the this forum by far is the best class-forum, good answers from people with knowledge, and no ranting and flaming .... I luv u guys:flowers:

Stoute, this forum gets my vote for the best. I was new to druids when I started and when I piled on constant questions, they were always quickly answered and with the upmost politeness and courtesy. Everyone here rocks and so do druids. I thought my "Post your best druid pelt" thread would die after 1 post like every other forum, but so far it's been quite active thanx to you guys. GO DRUID FORUM!!!

dont worry stoutewolf, we all know that diablo 2 is about the druids, like they're just so cool. who wants to be a big oaf barb or a sorceress that throws fireballs. druids are the only cool race in d2 thanks.

Druid fan here, just remade my pure fury level 89 wolf (he's level 77 now I think) because he didn't have max block before, so I'm fixing that :)
Olwe on USEast Ladder. And yes people are very helpful here - after a trade Remsy stuck around for a few minutes just giving me pointers on basic pvp stuff with wolves. I've got a lot to learn but it's really fun. :)

I don't think the forum is dying.. It's just that the people here are a little bit more intelligent than those in the other forums. We actually read the FAQs and guides that are stickied. After going thru them, there really aren't a lot of questions that still need to be answered. At least there aren't people here crying "Rate my cookie-cutter build".
As far as variants go, I can't think of any that aren't on the guide pages.. Also, the number of responses you received in the last 48 hours should prove to you that this forum is absolutely dead. No one reads the messages, and no one posts anything. <big evil grin>

I work for a living, its a 8-12 hour long light workout. It requires alot of time and energy. Last night I spent a 10 hour long shift. I used 2 of those hours training a new guy. I spend most of my time sleeping. That and well it is summer out. That means I get to grab the beater chopper. And ride after work. Which I do alot of. And if any one knows about bikes. That takes a ton of energy to do. I use riding to sap what energy I have left. So I can actly fall to sleep when the days done. Also I am trying to date again. So I am on eharmony as well. Which means 0-1 hours per day I need to take my time to talk with chicks. I still post here. Because I love this place. This place dead, No. You should have been around the paladin forum back in mid 1.09's. The only build was zealots and zealot like builds. On west, because of that forum. It meant that there where 50 or so people playing strange paladin builds like the hammerdin. Ya back then a hammerdin was less common then a werebear is now. They where more like pure summon druids are right now.
Not only that but once a day. When I do play. I look for people that need addvice on bnet. I all ways tell them to come to these forum rooms. That way there is more people showing up. So instead of complaining about it. Do something like tell people about these forum rooms. That way more people start showing up and learning. And more faces means more treads!

Well, D2 isn't the newest game on the block. It certainly hasn't the largest amount of players. Many people have quite this game and with reason. Apart from some patches it remains the same old thing.
Then druid isn't exactly the most played/popular char that's being picked nowadays.
So it isn't really a surprise that the druid forum has less posts and less active posters.
True, I saw a lot more ele druids last season than I have this season, even though very little has changed besides the explosion of smite pubs. I still see about the same number of melee druids though, and about the same percentage of them suck this season that sucked last (basically I've fought 3 on east who can even beat my melee sorc).
