Fire Druid vs. Ancients (hardcore)

A made a fire druid, leveled to 34 for using dark clan crusher before doing ancients. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't fill up with rejuvs, a little bit of lag, or a combination of both, but I was pawned by normal ancients. I ended up in stun lock, didn't have any rejuvs in my belt, and couldn't get a cast off or move... Any ideas on how I can get thru ancients when I finally remake the druid and level back to ancients again?

For skills, I had 1 in oak sage, level 18 boulder, and level 7-8 in volcano, 4 in fissure, and 2 in armaggedon, and of course 1 in all the wind prereqs.

Act2 defiance merc outfitted with meager equipment. I pretty much switched over to volcano when that became available. Any suggestions? I am pretty new to caster druids.. And would love to hear any strategies for defeating normal ancients...

PS, I know I could get some high level bud to do ancients for me, but that misses the point..

Well this is no help, but for future references I would strongly recommend putting as many points as possible as fast possible in fissure. Fissure is very good against ancients and I find it to be the best pvm druid fire-skill

Little tip: be ready to cast TP any time, it will reset ancients, but you will survive.
