char expiry

i just created a char in bnet, however, in the the char selection screen, under my newly created char, it says " expires in 10 days". Why is this so?

New chars always have that tag under them. To make it dissapear, simply be in a game for about 2 hours.

If you don't play the characters for 90 days will the warning reappear some 10 days before the character will be deleted and count down the days to deletion or will you just log in some day to find that one of your mules is gone and realise you haven't retrieved anything from them for about 3 months?

If your mule is "permed" (ie. spent at least 2 hours in a game), then the expiration tag dissapears. Now it will take 3 months of inactivity for it to expire. After 30 days of inactivity, you'll see the "expires in 60 days" and the countdown begins.
