Yeah, I'm really bored and I'm planning a Summoner Druid. This will be 99% intended for PvM with maybe a little PvP(heh, maybe I can cast a mad Grizzly right on top of some guys sometimes, just for fun).
My plan is to play mostly alone in Hell and play with parties during Normal/NM. So far, my skill plan is:
- 20 Dire Wolf
- 20 Grizzly
- 20 Lycanthropy
- 10 Maul
- 10 Werebear (see below)
- 1+ Shockwave (my main support skill)
- 1 Carrion Vine
- 1 Hunger
- 20 Spirit (see below)
So, I have a few questions for the pros.
1- Werebear: should I dump more than 1 point here? The life/damage bonus seems to be nice, but otherwise I'd probably use these in Maul or Shockwave.
2- Which Spirit should I use? I'm a fan of Oak Sage and would only use HoW if absolutely needed... for support, I'll have a Might merc using a Reaper's Toll. Is this enough support damage or would I need HoW for AR/Damage boost?
On the other side I'll already have Lycanthropy to help my life, so...
3- My equipment is focused on +skills(CoH, Jalal's, Hoto/Spirit for summoning, Arach, Torch, Highlords, BK ring etc), but I'm really undecided on the weapon. I have 2 candidates:
1- Grief PB- probably the fastest of the 3, best damage and Ignore Target Defense, which would solve most of AR problems. I'd use Stormshield or Spirit along with that.
2- Upgraded Ribcracker- good all-around weapon with good damage, 50% CB, FHR, but it's probably slower and less damaging than Grief, and doesn't have Ignore Target Defense, which could result on a need for HoW and/or AR charms to make up for that. Ah, and it has good requirements too. Still a nice option though, right?
Any help is welcome. I think this will be a very fun char, but I want to optimize his performance as well.
