craft question

im looking to craft the following gloves.

20 ias
knockback
+2-3 passive/bow
resist mods
dex/str mods

what level would be best to get the best results for these gloves.

Knockback, that comes from the Hitpower recipe, which uses Gauntlets.

The good thing with gloves affixes is that most of the good ones are not high in alvl. Affix level 59 is the highest of those you want (the biggest +STR affix). That requires Gauntlets to be ilvl 72. You should always strive for ilvl 71 or more when you craft, becuase that guarantees 4 random affixes.

So ilvl 72 would be the goal for the crafted gloves. You can get this by shopping Gauntlets (in Nightmare or Hell) and craft them with a level 70 character.

(BTW, you can not get higher than +2 to a skill tree on crafted/rares gloves. +3 is magic-only.)

so as long as the gloves are from hell, they are guaranteed 4 affixes?
and i am lvl 79

Yes, it's chain gloves etc.

You will get 4 affixes if the new ilvl of charlevel/2 + old_itemlevel/2 is 71 or greater (round down before adding), so don't craft with a L1 mule. That's also enough for +2 to a skill tree. +3 isn't possible for crafted items, they can just get affixes which rare items can get as well.
