cold sorc and immunes help thread

basically with any combination of cold mastery/facets/infinity can i break cold immunes with

frozen orb?

blizzard?

i know i can use another skill tree for a secondary attack but really i just like the cold tree and would like to let this run the show for me.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only Lower Resist or Conviction can break cold immunities, although at reduced effectiveness. However, once an immunity is broken, -% cold resist from Facets and Cold Mastery can take down the enemy resists even further.

Yeah, only Lower Resist and Conviction can break cold immunity, and usually you'll need both because most cold immunes are 120%+.

Ahhh...the problematic single tree sorc.

Use an infinity or get an infinity merc. Helps but still difficult at times.

If u use infi merc and lowerres wand you can break all of the most important cold immunity.

But: using wand is decrease your killing speed especially your sorc feelings... You would better to use 2 skilltree sorc (fire + cold e.g).

But your right, most of MF act bosses run need almost only cold so it is a way. But cursing then Blizz then cursing than blizz is very very complicated... (I wouldn't enjoy that:D)

You will have more enjoy with 2 skill tree based sorc than using 1tree + wand (and you can't break all of the immunities! like flesh spawner (fúúúúj) :D


with infi your mete-orb/blizz sorc will be godly :)
