public baal running for noobs?

I've gotten bored with with MF and key running and the whole random "you may already be a winner" item slot machine crap in general so I'm considering taking a break to level up some. I'm already at level 87 but I imagine getting at least 3 more levels would be nice for various clvl dependent bonuses as well as beefing up my merc a bit more.

So I entered several public Hell baal games and every fricken time everybody would leave almost before I arrived. That's not at all how I rememeber it being back when I was doing NM baal runs in public games for exp. I managed to predict the name of the next game for some of the run series but even if i joined the moment it stopped telling me the game did not exist it seemed that the run would end before I got even a scrap of exp. How long in minutes are those public hell baal runs usually expected to last?

In any event, are public Hell baal runs not the best way to earn exp? I'm using a meteorb build Tal's set sorc with very modest damage output that is probably stuck at the very modest damage output level indefinately unless I can get some skiller charms. Are solo baal runs probably going to be the best way for me to grind exp?

8 player baals will give you far more exp then doing it solo

you just need to be a bit lucky with those public baal games
one time you have 20 good baalruns and another time not even one

if you got a good baalrun I would say +/-3 minutes
decent baalrun +/- 4-5 min

So do i identify the game then start trying to join the next in that series and when I've gotten in that next game just wait for invite? I know people really hate being asked for an invite in public games. Should I go straight to the worldstone wp without waiting for invite?

You need to know how to find baal games, its not that hard. For starters, dont join the ones that aren't even numbers because they wont go far and is probably made by some level 54 druid... I usually join the ones that have a name in fron of it because usually it has either 1) a good baal runner or 2) a good bot runner.

idd, on europe and prolly and those other realms too, we have a lot of players that use "baalbot"

most of the time a hammerdin that auto-tele to throne and kills all (so you dont have to do anything)

you just wait then when he create the nxt game, you join the game and he will invite you (same for non baalbot games, just wait when they say "next" or when the last minions died )

Search for clantags aswell.

Names like BKE-BAAL or KTA-BAAL with a number at the end are good bets.

Well, thats what the name says. They want you to tele to baal. You shouldn't really be surprised by that :)
