This might be a stupid question but if you have 100% damage reduced to you take no physical dmg?
If so 100% would be.
Storm shield 35%
Shaftstop 30%
String 15%
Gaze 20%
Please let me know if this is true.

It's capped at 50%. Anything over isn't counted.

The only significance of having 100%DR is that you can't be cursed by Amplify Damage (at least this was the case in 1.09, and I haven't heard that it's changed since then).

Amp reduces your physical resistance by 100% while %DR adds a bonus. The final amount is capped at 50% (75% in 1.09 and before) That means you need 150% DR to fully negate Amp and have maximum DR while 100% will just turn it into 0%, as it is with no %DR and no Amp.

I didn't mean (or say) "fully negate." The way it worked, as I understand it, is that since you had at least 100%DR and the 100% reduction from Amp would not bring your physical resistance to a negative number, the curse wouldn't display. But I never actually tried it out, only read about it, so maybe that's not how it worked.

Hmm, if that's the case, the following questions come to my mind
If the curse isn't displayed, will the enemy be able to cast a second curse, so you are affected by both ?
Shouldn't it be the same with the lower resist curse then when you have exactly the same amount of bonus resists ?

32% dr from 4xber armor,35% from stormshield,15 from dungo,31% from dual ber coa,15% from fade prebuff...Is there another way to get more %dr?

Shaft+Ber would be better and you can put Ber into a Stormshield as well.
The %DR bonus from fade isn't capped IIRC, but I'm not sure.

142% max dr ,unless an assassin is used, that can get more from fade.

The Crainte Vomir sword adds 10% DR as well.
I knew I forgot something :azn:
