I noticed something. If for example i have bulkathos ring wich gives +40 life (based on char lvl) then casting Battle Orders 40 life bonuss is applied after Bo.
Is it only with items who gives + life based on char lvl? Does the same thing happens with Fortitude and Shako as those also have this bonuss?
Another thing. I have made more tests with chilling armor in PvP and it realy deflects ranged damage done to you and not just casting low dmg ice bolt. I just dont know how much percentage of damage it realy deflects.
Can someone else confirm it?
There was a discussion on BO'able and non-BO'able life. Try to search that in barb forum and you should be able to find it. I barely remember it's something like +life is BO'able, but +vitality is not.

1. +life/level
2. +% life
3. +vit/level

And straight +vit.

Of course you can go for +str/dex of any kind and put the saved stat points into vit instead of doing it the other way around :azn:

OK. I see. Never realy noticed this kind of thing, Bo-able, non-boable.
Seems that my freshly purchased Bk ring will have no use. Seems that Dwarf star is more valuable, as it is boable
And what about Chilling armor?
P.S. Krischan, your previous avatar I liked more

I will give it back to Dredd when I got back mine from Gorny

What about Chilling Armor? Are you asking how the defense bonus is applied or something?

No.
Based on info from Arreat Summit Chilling Armor releases ice bolts if it is hit by ranged attack. In PvP it not just release ice bolts, it also deflects damage done to you, something similar to thorns aura for melee attackers. I have done few tests so can confirm it, but I also wanted confirmation from someone else.
What I wanted to know is how much damage% is deflected?
No.

Chilling Armor doesn't deflect melee damage, like thorns or iron maiden. Are you certain that the target you were attacking did not have any items that granted that property? What character and skills were you using in the tests?
I've just done a few tests on this and the damage was never returned to my melee char.

I'm not talking about Frozen armor or Shiver armor.
Chilling ArmorThe best defensive spell available to a Sorceress is manifest in this formidable armor. The spell actually defends against ranged attacks, turning aside arrow and bolt. Those seeking to engage the Sorceress shall soon feel the icy bite of their folly.
Effect: Confers a defense bonus and launches an ice bolt against ranged attackers.
1.Test #1 was made with light sorc casting 35k light dmg against barb who had Fortitude on (it have chance to cast lvl15 Chilling armor). So based on Arreat Summit info it should release ice bolt with dmg 28-38, after PvP penalty it does ridiculous dmg, BUT on reality I got almost killed from those ice bolts. Dunno the dmg  No other auras was active or in play, no other skills used.
2.Test #2 was made with lvl 22 Chilling armor casted on sorc, no points was put in Cold mastery. Attacker fire sorc with 18k Fb who took decent dmg before i died
3.Test #3 - attacker Faith bowazone, who took decent dmg from lvl22 Chilling armor.
So this all makes me believe that Chilling armor deflects dmg done to you, not just casts ice bolts.
All tests was done in Closed Bnet.
Ahh, now I see what you meant. I misread before, sorry.
I do not know for certain whether the damage of the ice bolts reflected have some basis from the damage of the ranged attack used to trigger them, though I'm more inclined to lean towards the response that it does not.
I did a quick test today when I had a spare moment and it showed that the damage that the attacker received was the same when they used a skill that dealt 1500 damage and a short bow that dealt 1-4 (in both cases, neglicable damage).
You could probably run one or two of your tests again using the same guidelines and see if theres a noticable difference between the damage that the characters take (eg, for the fireball sorceress, have her attack with a short bow to see if she takes the same degree of damage as her fireballs).
