Seeing someone else's items

Hi all,

I was in a trading game lately (EuScL), were this guy started commenting me 'your equipment sucks' and the like. He even read me the stats on the items I was wearing. How's this possible ? Are there in-game commands to see what other people are wearing, or was he using a 3rd party program ?

Note that I didn't mind him seeing it, because it actually made our trading experience a lot easier. He could see which equipment my sorc was lacking the most (I definitely needed better armor), so he sold me a 'Skin of the Vipermagi' for a very reasonable price.

He was probably using map hack which is going to get him banned sooner or later.

Though I don't have any problems with people seeing what I'm wearing, I guess it does give you an unfair advantage in PvP. And I suppose this maphack program contains some other cheats as well ?

Definate unfair advantage in pvp maphack mainly just revels the whole map not sure if it does anything else
