Magic damage reduction

Hi!

What does "Magic damage reduced by 10" (e.g. Vipermagi) mean?

Only magic damage, or other elemental damage can be reduced?

I've read about that and i noticed that.

Damage reduced by X is for physical and Magic ... is for others...

or?

"Magic Damage reduced by xx" will reduce the damage by fire, cold, lightning and magical (eg bone spear, etc) attacks.

Does anyone know if there is a cap to how much magic dmg you can reduce? (that sentence sounds kinda odd but I think you know what I'm getting at)

Also is there a cap to how much physical damage you can reduce? (amount, not %, example- I have an amulet of life everlasting which reduces dmg by 25, is there a limit to how much more dmg reduced items I can equip?)

If anyone know's can help me out I would appreciate it! Thanks.
