Merc weap for insight?

Hi
I'm gonna make insight for my merc, I found a colossos voulge and a schyte.. the schyte has very low dmg, but the colossus has waaaay high str req. he wont be able to use it until level 10000000... or at least very high, what should I do? which one? or jsut wait for another weap?

Use the scythe for now until he has the strength for the CV. Equip him with some +strength items (Duriel's Shell, GFace, Gris armor, etc.).

I'd also say the scythe for now, wait for a CV until you find an eth one

Don't wait for anything, the Insight runes are dirt cheap. Have a look at Arreat Summit for stats about base weapons (see my sig for a link) and as soon as you have a halfway decent polearm with 4 sockets, insert Insight into it, even if it's nonethereal.
