Im thinking of this build, idunno if it already exists

Using a Passion for the zeal, and alot of skill granting bonus's you could have a good zeal, the secound wep could be Azure or somthing else splendid

Then useing a bunch of rare or crafted items etc boots and gloves, increase you attack speed greatly, so you attack incredibly fast and max the skill which allows you to run fast, etc youl attack very fast, run very fast and if using the proper equipment you could deal alot of damage in a short period of time, the things i was thinking of maxing are

Sword Mastery
(The Speed Skill)
Natural Resistance
Iron skin
Rest into the war crys, etc bo

this build will require a good amount of defense so it wont get picked off right away, and speed is the essance, and this is more of an experiment, and the reason why I am posting it is because i want to know what Wep i should use on my secound hand, any skills that might contribute to the damage or speed, i know i will need the str for required equip and Good Dex and alot of Vit

probably arky2 with high def... 16xx def would certainly save a great deal... and maybe consider a second passion? or a silence?

yea highlords is a good idea, i should probably use guillaumes for crushing blow, but ill lose alot of damage i would get from andys or shako butt good idea, remember this is a new build, so every suggestion is appreciated

probably a silence weapon would be good because of the nice damage and the +2 to all skills... if you dont need any mors skills take out a botd for damage... but does zeal attack with 1 weapon or 2?

Jordy did this build a while back and wrote a nice little guide. The best way to approach it is to use something like the following:

Guillaume's Face (Deadly Strike and 35% CB makes your zeal hit hard)
Highlord's (DS and IAS, plus the skills boost helps you hit the level 4 Zeal bp for 5 swings)
Duress (you need the CB and DS to help your damage more than you need Fortitude's ED - CB is much more effective in PvM)
Passion/Grief Phase Blades (use the Grief in your main hand to hit like a truck; you could use something else - Stormlash for instance - for more CB and Static Field)
Ravensfrost (you're going to NEED the AR)
Bul Kathos (to help you hit level 4 Zeal)
Annihilus (to get your Zeal to level 4)
Goblin Toes or Gore Riders (use whatever works better in order to hit 100% CB)

Skills:
20 in Battle Orders
20 in a Mastery
20 in Iron Skin (Shout makes you vulnerable to CB on a dual-wielder)
Natural Resist and Increased Speed to taste (diminishing returns, so spend wisely here)

Your choice from here on out. Personally I'd go with a fair level of War Cry so you could lock your enemies up while you zeal away at them.

Check the guide and good luck! :afro:

duress would have nearly as much defense and much better offensive mods

and

shout > iron skin always

shout > iron skin always

Why not max both on this built?
It's got quite a few skill points left...

to keep your zeal going constantly you should invest more into warcry after mastery/bo/shout instead of iron skin, it will help you much more defensively than a few thousand more defense which translates into only a few % in hell

What does this mean? I don't see why Iron Skin would ever be better than Shout...

Because Iron Skin has diminishing returns, whereas Shout doesnt.

1. No, they both give 10% enhanced defense per skill lvl. What's diminishing about that?

2. Even if you were right, you didn't even answer my question. You explained why Shout was better (diminishing returns is a bad thing).

Shout is shareable and increases duration for Battle Orders and Battle Command.

Remember kids, sharing is caring.

My mistake..

I was thinking about Natural Resist, which does have diminishing returns, meaning that the more sps you invest in that skill, the effect increasment drops by each lvl.

shout synergizes berserk, is shared by party members, and also mercs and summons. iron skin should be a one point skill for pretty much any build.
