What level is the hydra cast by bartuc duriing baal runs? I'm trying to figure out if mdr will help keep my merc alive.

Hmm, a level 11 hydra does 66-81 damage. Does this get any bonuses from eg. cold/lightning enchanted or whatnot? Seems like damage can come from mysterious places nowadays...
The Hydras from Council members get their dmg boosted by +% fire dmg.
Councilmember1 (Vilehand and Icefist):
Slvl 2 Hydra in normal, +40% extra-fire in NM, +100% in Hell
Councilmember2 (Flamefinger and Voidfinger):
Slvl 3 Hydra in normal, +40% extra-fire in NM, +100% in Hell
Councilmember3 (Sparkfist and Dragonhand):
Slvl 4 Hydra in normal, +40% extra-fire in NM, +100% in Hell
Baalhighpriest (Bartuc):
Slvl 4 Hydra in normal, +60% extra-fire in NM, +120% in Hell

Well that explains why my mercs get toasted by Hydras while my Characters hardly lose a sliver.
Any idea why it's coded like that? It looks like about a 6x multiplier; does it have anything to do with the increased damage minions take from Act Bosses?
