Maybe you did know, but I didn't, so I want to share...

One person told me, that when doing council runs, the decrepify from his merc' Reaper's Toll pierces council physical immunity.
So I thought it's not possible (council has 50 physical resistance... 50+80(from stoneskin)=130 ->not piercable by Decrepify, but I did a test later.
It turned out that Stone Skin boss mod adds only 50 to physical resistances, not 80 like it's written on Arreat Summit.

(I just made a mod where I let to spawn a lot of zombie bosspacks in blood moor. In first case, I set physical resistance to 49 and Stone Skin bosses were not immune to physical. In second case, I set physical resistance to 50 and Stone Skin bosses were immune)

Another mystery revealed then!
Uhm, while you're at it. How does 'Magic Resistant' affect the boss' resists? And also, is that for fire/cold/lightning/poison or magic damage (as in hammers, berserk etc), or maybe even both? That has troubled me quite a while.

Congrats to a name in green btw!

Magic Resistant is +40% fire/lightning/cold, in that order.
Mana Burn adds 20% magic resist.
Spectral Hit adds no resistances.

In that order?
Does order of appliance matter somehow?

Maybe it only matters so the game wont/cant spawn a triple immune monster...

True.

Interesting about the mana burn. I didn't know that. What effect does spectral hit have, i.e. I'm looking for the scientific name of the walloping I get when hit by these guys.

Uhm, could you explain how you mean? I thought at least dual immunes existed quite commonly, cant triple ones exist?
And you mean a magic resistant boss is more likely to be FI/LI rather than either FI/CI or LI/CI?

Hmm... I'm just guessing here. But imagine a boss with these mods:

lightning enchanted (gives him 75% lite res), cold enchanted (75% cold res), magic resistant (40% to all 3) and default fire immunity.

That would make him immune to all 3 elements. But as RTB said there is a specific order for "magic resistant", so I think the cold res part would be in this case removed.

So it would leave a monster that is fire and lightning immune with 75% cold resist.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds about right.

I can agree with that based on solo Baal runs I've done. Lister is always fire immune, and usually cold immune (inherent 50% cold res), but I've seen him both cold enchanted and lightning enchanted while is immunities were only fire and lightning.
