Hey, n00bish question here...

I've been looking around at WW barb information, and I learned that there is an invisible "Range" system that all weapons belong to, ranking each from 1 to 5. This Range affects Whirlwind's attack range and effectiveness. However, I've so far failed to find even a basic guide to what weapons are of what Range. I'm sure there's one online somewhere, probably even in these forums, so if someone a little more fluent with the site could point me in its direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're getting at, Omikron8. I mean, I know that site too, but the point of the post was, I couldn't find the information I wanted anywhere. I checked there too--none of the item pages seem to tackle (or even mention) range, including the FAQ. Can someone point me to the Arreat Summit range page?

You didnt check the normal items page-it clearly shows what range a base weapon is.

There's no "range page." Range is a property of the specific base weapon just like damage range (and average damage), str req, dex req, lvl req, max sockets, and base speed. Just take a look through the different weapons and you'll find a column listing range.

Oh, I see. Here I was thinking this information would be stored separately, where instead it's in there with all the other details. Thanks everyone for their help!
