Throwbarb Merc Question

Just wondering which merc would be better for a throwbarb in pvp, and in pvm.

A1 merc with faith bow (fanat aura) - less dmg boost but good ar boost with speed
A2 merc with might aura and pride (conc aura) - huge dmg burst
A2 merc with blessed aim aura and pride (conc aura) - ar boost and more damage than fanat

Also.. do mercs really survive long in pvp? (too much hardcore and no pvp :rolleyes: )

with the exception of singer there is only one merc for a barb

actualy the a1 merc with faith is pretty good
because its gota some wat differ ai compared to the other mercs
a1 merc gets back from enemies and shoot means they live longer and dun really stick by ur side and outa harms way, not aways though
a2 walk up and jabs with an aura end of story
a3 walks a lil and shoots dun bother unless ur bugging him
a5 runs n bashes n smashes

I like the act 2 freeze merc... makes crowds more controllable, and with high level shout he can survive ok in hell.

Of course, if you can get a merc one of those runewords with freeze aura, that's a different story.

might is really the only real thing that works... either that or the blessed aim aura... but i'd go with might... it greatly boosts your power and with that pride weap on him he'll really increase your damage... that way you'll do more than enough damage for anything and so will your merc... maybe get an eth stone balrog skin on him... that way he'll survive pretty well in hell and pvp... and a helm with some usefull mods (extra aura?)

if your merc uses pride he will need a life leech helm from andy's unless you are rich enough to give him coh
