I'm debaiting on trading for a griffens but not sure how much the dmg would go up from a shako...

Anyone got one I can try on?

It will be very helpful, I guess I can hook you up with some items or a free rush...

I think most people would be more inclined to probably just tell you how much their dmg went up rather then giving you a griffons to try....

I figured that, of course most people with them have all lightning skills maxed, where as I got an orb and not all light skills maxed.

If someone wants to post stats with and without it I guess that will do...

Because the +x% Lightning damage adds straight to mastery, the boost isn't significant. However, there's the -x% Lightning damage, and providing your enemy doesn't overstack to negate this, the damage boost will be significant.

For example. Your enemy has 75% Resist. A 40K lightning will do 10K damage.

Assume that Griffon lowers this to 50% (with facet). A 40K lightning will do 20K damage.

As you can see, 25% resistance difference can double your damage. This is not something you can sneeze at.

And of course, the damage will be lower than shako if the enemy overstacks.

See I got a maxed orb / light sorc (with around 15 points in nova) doing about 25 K dmg with an infinity merc with a eth 3366D fort in front of me. I can cut through chaos runs rather easy especially with the orb backup. As soon as the merc goes down .. AKA get's madens cause that's the only thing that can really kill him. I'm up sh!t's creak .. running back to town to get him.

maybe a inhand infinity instead ?

Most people will just put on their anti-FOH shield if they see your conviction and completely null you -res, but they probably won't if you don't have infinity
