Pvp Cold Build Help/info

Im currently in the process of my own FO PVP build.
On my 2nd sorce, this week after my 1st attempt and I need some help with decisions.:undecided:


I guess my main problem would be........

1. Deciding wether to use ES.
- if so how many points ?
- Max Tele. ?


2 Go max block? (leaning towards yes)
a.Stormshield
b. Use spirit


3. Where to put stats under the circumstance of my skills

Fathom
Nw
Coh

1. The great thing about FO is you can max it and it's synergy and cold mastery and still have enough points left for ES. Put as many points in ES as you need to reach 95%. Yes max Telekenesis.

2. This is really up to you. I didn't go max block and use spirit. If you do go max block you will lose a lot of mana (+ mana from Spirit, +% mana from frosts and or rings as you will have to make up the lost fcr).

3. Enough str to use equipment, enough dex for max block if that is what you want, enough vit to get some life (unless you have cold lifers), rest mana. Mine is a little str for spirit and rest mana. My build will be 1.4 life and 4.3k mana once I'm done.

If you go ES don't go max block, it's a waste and only poison/OW will truely hurt you. Or no mana, and that's where you spend pts in energy instead of dexterity to prevent that from happening :smiley:

what weapon do you guys use when you pvp?

I was thinking about buying a doom axe , but waiting for some thoughts.
If you use doom axe, how are the results? Effective?

otherwise im using my fathom as I lvl up and quest.



Another thought/Question would be

1. Spirit Shield

or

2. 20/20 Cold shield

(If doom is effective and from what I heard max lower enemy cold resist is 200% then 20/20 shield would be a waste)

There is definitely no reason to use Doom, you already have lots of -cold resists from cold mastery. Stick with fathom, better cold damage and fcr.

I would stick with the spirit over a 20/20. The 20/20 would add more damage but you would lost alot (+ mana, fhr, + vit, fcr). Spirit shields is the best rune word for it's cost imo.

My build will be 1.4 life and 4.3k mana once I'm done.

i would like to know how you can attain 1.4k life and 4.3k mana. im assuming this is before bo? or after? if after then yes i can see it as being possible. but no bo, then thats a crock of turds. i have 450 vit on my sorc and just have 1.4 life before bo. there is no way in hell you have 450 vit and 4.3k mana as well. impossible.

It's most definitely after BO, everyone uses it in PvP so I figured I would post with. I'm not even sure what it would be without BO but it woudn't be good :)

hmm right now my sorce is lvl 80 im sure im putting stats/skills correctly.

Not doing the greatest in pvp ...........

Any info/ things to remember?

What's the damage you are showing on screen? Also to be good you have to hit them with the orb itself, that does alot more damage.

In PvP you will just ich my nose with this.

Good PvP orber does 1.2k+ dmg with -250% Mastery and still have 1.4k life and 4k mana.

And I still would recommend going max block, coz your biggest enemies will be BvC barbs and Palas.
