Hey guys.. I mainly want your opinions and hints on my skill selection.

So here goes..

Bash 1
DoubleSwing 20
Stun 1
Concentrate 1
Frenzy 20
___________
Axe Mastery 10
Iron Skin 1
Natural Resistance 1
___________
Howl 1
Taunt 20
Shout 10
Bo 20
Battle Command 1

So as you can see, this is a Frenzy baba.
I intend to use Conc+SS on swich vs Melee chars.

I found out that 10 Mastery/20 Taunt gives more dmg than the other way around.

So what do you people think?
And what would be the best weapon solution.. Botd Zerkers?
I'm a poor guy, so it will take me ages to get those, but I'm impatient and want to start the char already, hehe :)

Thanks in advance for what ever you contribute

frenzy is totaly not viable for pvp
You will have problems against probably almost any char clas out there thrying to frenzy them.
you should cosider ww.

True. Fenzy relies on its "proc" to increase its speed and damage, and it won't proc in PvP. You'll spend all your time double-swinging for speed. Also, no shield barb in PvP = abundant barb ears.

except for bvcs. Shield is only mandatory in bvb I guess...not that storm/phoenix does not help ofc :wink3:

Meh :/
Well.. at least I didn't spend the entire time leveling up to it just to find out it doesnt work.
I should just stop jumping from char to char and focus on one..
Besides, I'm too poor to even equip just one char.. so what the heck? :S

Thanks for the input guys.
Guess I'll just spend a lot of time MFing now (4 days of absolutely NOTHING worth keeping..) and get back to my Wolf druid when I can afford proper equipment..

:'(

PS.. I find WW to be among the most boring and ... well.. anyway.. I dislike the skill a lot. I never liked baba anyway.. Thought frenzy might be fun..
Perhaps I'll do that Doublethrower one day then.. or if its the same case with that, then perhaps a CryBaby... or.. blah.. :undecided:

Hey

Don't let one "not-worked-out" idea to get you down that bad...

All of our wealth is spent on a BvB...
Not much oponents to duel - probably the most UNversatile built, but oh well - it's something we're good at. Me and my bro were building PvP barbs from 1.09...

BTW - double thrower is vialabe for PvP... I would predict it woun't be killing everything easely, but sure would be fun... I'd like to try this one out myself:scratch:

Good luck MF'ing:thumbsup:

Yeh.. I'll need that luck..

And as to BvB.. meh.. Thats just boring.. :/
I never liked direct straight melee approach... Thats pretty much all that a baba offers.

In my entire life that I've played Diablo (almost two years, but quit twise in between) I've met only one good Thrower.. the guy was awesome.
He was using Lacerator+Warshrike and Lacerator+SS on swich..
That was on Useast, back in 1.10. He was insanely cool :)

But yeh.. Back to mfing so I can at least finish up that druid..
I'm only lacking a perf ETH Tombreaver, Botd, Perf Coa, Forti, Anni, Druid torch, 9x 45hp Shift skillers, 10 3max'dmg/+20AR/+20hp sc's....
*sigh* :upset:

I remember back in the day, the DT - S/S hybrid was a damn viable PvP build. The Dex needed for block complimented your throwing AR... Just shopping for high % ED Winged Harpoons with a speed mod was a little boring.

unless you have superhuman perception and reflexes you won't be able to namelock someone (legitimately) in pvp while you are frenzied

Got it.

i disagree with that... the most fun duels i had where with my frenzybarb against any other char...

true i spent a lot of time trying to get it good but its worth wile...

still a discussion between me and my friend is if its worth putting pts into beserk for the magic dmg... ofcourse 1 point is needed against those acursed immune to physicals... and some points in mastery and taunt and double swing...

but the most fun is when your swinging slowly and steadely increase your walking speed untill the opponent decides to take a ranged attack and suddenly you run a lot faster than they expected...

ofcourse... the big problem in this build is the start... for that i love the monsters near... you just seek a few out and have your opponent follow you... then suddenly as you are in the middle of killing monsters you turn to your opponent and swing away at more than enough speed... if they run you can easely catch up... and ofcourse a few pts in ww is always fun to surprise them...

yes... the added dmg and speed from frenzy do work on ww as well

the dmg from frenzy while frenzied does not help ww

i don't believe the frenzied ias helps either
