You know the cube conversion of making runes into other runes? With El being the lowest rune, and Zod the highest.

Well, have you ever wondered how many El runes it would take to make a Pul? or a Ist? or a ZOD?

I was bored, and decided to find out. El = 1, and each after that = the # of Els required to make it. Gem requirements did not factor into this, obviously.

So as you see, it IS relatively possible to gather enough El runes to make Zods, if you lived that long...

All i can say is thank god for random rune drops.

Yes, but as you can see, it's far more profitable to cube up Ral's, which only take 2,187 el's! then you can trade Rals at face value for Amns, or Shaels... or two Rals for a Hel, if you're lucky. Then you can trade the Hel up, slowly, one rune at a time, until you have a Lem!

Once you have Lem, you can go back and cube another 2,187 els for another ral, go through the whole process, trade the 2x Lem for a Pul. And in this way, you've actually gotten a Pul for 4,374 El's! That saves you well over THREE BILLION ELS! Wow!
