Bowazon helm dilema

I am was wondering what is the better helm for a bowazon..Vampgaze soceted with a 40ed jewel or a 3 soc decent def. helm with a 40%ed,30%ed and a 15 IAS jewels and vamp gaze on te merc

It's hard to say because you don't mention what other items you use.

Most bowazons using the 'top gear' aim for a Faith GMB, Fortitude and enough IAS (95 if i remember correctly) to shoot at 7 frames per second, the max speed.

Assuming you plan to use all that gear, the best helm for an Amazon is one with 45% IAS. Try socketing a 15% IAS Jewel at Mavina's, or if you are rich, get ED/IAS jewels and slap into a 3 socket Tiara.

Circlet type helms are the best on zons of course, it's all about style.:prop:

ATM i have 70 ias with a faith MB(not Gmb) and was wondering what is the ias u need to shoot max with that bow?(ias mavs circlet 30, cats eye 20, Loh 20

And if i am close to max or mx what would be the ideal helmto use?

faith mb needed like 55ias for 7frames (which is fastest) I think.

so would it be prudent to switch to vamp gaze and socet it with a 15 ias jewel?( as oppose to using mavs helm) which would give me 55 ias

I say use a 2x 40/15 gskull

is this for pvm? MB does not compare to a gmb in pvm. I would suggest switching that out for a GMB faith.
PvM - GMB
PvP - MB

You can use gmb in pvp but your ias restrictions will make you less versatile in picking equipment, something that could be highly beneficial to you in a duel.

zons don't need DR, whether it is pvm or pvp

stick with tal's mask/stealskull/andy's/*insert godly rare circlet type here*
