Mercenary fanatacism vs might

Which one is better and why? Strictly PvM

I have heard many people say that fanatacism on an act 1 merc using a WF is a great option. This gives you a good rate of attack and a very high, high end damage from the windy.

ALTHOUGH, why not use faith on yourself? Given, the faith's attack speed on a GMB or MB is slower and the damage is lower, but how does it compare? Consider the damage bonus from might and concentration (pride on merc) and compare it to this. Also, does having fanat on yourself make your atk rate faster than if it was on your merc? I know that if you are getting fanat from a pally, he still gets about double the atk speed that you do with it.

Just a few questions i would throw up there because i have seen people talking about using a WF and faith on a merc. I have started my zon and she is 68 with a faith and can almost kill her way through hell solo.

Yes, If fana is on you, you will get more benefit.

Pride/Might + Faith, kickass damage but kinda overdone :(

if your merc has fanaticism, you get only half of the damage bonus it receives, so it's always better to use the faith on yourself damage-wise... AFAIK attack speed and attack rating bonuses are the same

if your fanat merc dies your killing speed drops huge due to loss of the fanat EIAS

and a1 mercs LOVE to charge into melee death even if they have a safe firing distance

and a2 mercs can tank, a1 mercs pretend they can

Imo this is wrong. I have Wf/faith combo and my merc hasnt died in ages. In the heat of fire my Valk is first sorrounded with monsters, then Im a few meters away, and third comes my merc. She either stands besides me or right behind me. In chaos runs(I clear it as fast as any hammerdins) the FaithRogue proves here value, as IM doesnt affect here. As for IM against A2 mercs.. well we all know how that goes.
