basic javazon questions

I just reinstalled the game a few weeks ago, and have an MF sorc that got lucky and found an ethereal titan's, so I'm gonna make a javazon. I read through some of the guides, and have a few questions:

(PvM only)
1) None of them have penetrate, is LF an auto hit if it comes in contact with enemy?

2) Ignoring lightning immunes, and assuming i'll be able to upgrade my titan's: will LF be able to kill in hell act5/hell cows, solo or with 1 friend? My gear will be not so great, I can probably gather about +4ish skills (not including skills on the titans) right now without much trouble

3) if yes for #2, about how many synergies will be required? Will I have to pump 20 points into all 4?

4) what about a full game?

I think I had another but forgot it >.<

1) The LF bolt itself does not require AR to hit.
2) Yes
3) Maxing LF alone is enough. The synergies just boost it up a little.
4) Still yes.

of course maxing some synergies will make killing cows faster, but i agree with evrae that the synergies are not at all the deciding factor in being able to kill them bovines...

The synergies are really only there for upping your Charged Strike damage, which is a devastating skill against single targets (where Lightning Fury struggles).
