Hey all. I am currently running an untwinked, HC, single pass character; no reruns of any area (although areas without superuniques qualify under my own rules, I don't see myself rerunning them)

With that in mind, I thought a thread wherein likeminded folk could trade useful items would be helpful.

ATM, I don't have any items worth trading, my meteorb sorc is level 18, and hasn't found much.

So, to summarize, this thread would be for HC trading only, preferably with no or limited rerunning of areas (tourneys with similar rules that allow trading would benefit from this thread, IMO)

My thought process goes along the line of: NM Meph drops me an Arreat's Face; my sorcy can not do anything with it. However, if someone is running a HC barb, we can help each other out, in the way MP players do.

Any thoughts? For the record, I am 1.11b RWM.

From my point of view, if you trade in this way, you will not be untwinked anymore... I don't see difference in twinking after several Mephruns and trading after someone else has found items from Meph in his first and only Mephrun...

If you want to trade for items, it will be better imho just to allow self-twinking, possibly reruns too, i expect problem with "your own rules"...

Well, not really. Think about it-if I am making a single pass in all areas, in order to even have trade worthy items, I will need incredible luck; assuming I have my usual luck finding items (4+ years, 1 TC 87 Set/Uni), my character will be very skill-based, and very cautious, although meteorb sorcs have a level of safety.

I have a small HC stash that I have saved, and I may use that, but it would only be in this fashion; I would mule one item on the character after I mule a like item (by level or rarity) off, and only if my current character could have gotten that item as well, so I refer to the item level, not the requirement level.

In this fashion, I hope to maintain a world for this character which simulates a singular universe, if you will. As long as I trade/mule in this fashion, it still feels right.

I think your idea is not bad, but am not sure how many people will play this style.

I have started some HC chars (still newbie, I have only one conqueror), I play untwinked, because it's a challenge for me. And if I consider to trade or not because of getting more suitable items for my build, I will choose the way "MFing (=rerunning) in some areas - for example Hell Andy and Mephruns", which is imho better and "more untwinked" than "trading as you have proposed"...

However, it depends on your playstyle, if you feel your system is what you want, it's OK to trade your way
