Hey,

I'm planning to get an exile eth vortex, but I need help on this:
Should I look for +45 all resists innate mod or +65%ed on it?
Which is better for a smiter (ubers + some PvP)?

thanks

If I remember correctly you are building a smiter. Ed/ar is for zealots, look for all res base, and remember, exile has the worst blocking stats, while you can still pull 1.1k+ defense with sacred targe/rondache.

Thx for info, that was my thought as well. But now, I'll need to sink a lot of points into dex to maintain max block, that I dont need to do with hoz. :undecided:
Is it really worth it?
I built a pure smiter, no points into zeal:
20 smite
20 fana
20 Holy Shield
20 defiance
rest into charge I think, maybe some into conv/foh

thanks for opinions

First of all, either choose charge or no defiance and conv/foh. In order for foh to be effective you need at least 30 points in the skill and holy shock synergy, and use quite a few +skill items as well. In the grief era imo charge does good damage even with 1pt in it.I would sink 30 pts in foh/conv and use uped hoz. When high defense is needed exile could do the trick. Useful items that give dexterity is waterwalk, shadow dancer, ravenfrost etc.
