I'm Confused:(

So I haven't played Diablo 2 much since the release and I recently got the expansion. I've been looking through the forums on ideas for an assassin build and I'm interested in making a WWsin. The part where I get confused is that all the guides make it seem that WW is a skill for the assassin, but I know it isn't. Can someone please explain to me what whirlwind is?

Whirlwind is a barbarian skill wich is acquireable through the runeword "Chaos"

+290-340% Enhanced Damage (varies)
