best sorc for starting from scratch

I was thinking about making a fireball sorc (I hear they can do like 1-2k a fireball) but then I thought about how many fire immunes there are in hell... so I'm not sure. I want to start off with a good MF sorc, so any recommendations?

BTW keep in mind that I'm starting from NOTHING. I haven't played the game in quite a while and I'm re-buying it after all these years.

Where are you plaing? The hardest part indeed is the absolute nill where you dont have anything. I could give you something to mf, nothing great though.

Best build would most likely be the sasjas oh-so-famous-and-leet meteorber. I started with it about 3 weeks ago and im now efficiently running hell meph. WSK gets me still down though.

Just get your chars levels to around 7x and you should be well fine. I would say that running hell countess is the best bet you could start with as you dont need any mf there. Also all those magic items with MF are pretty good as you can always moat mef in hell for items. I started running mef as soon as I could although it took around 8mana pots.

in short: read the Sasjas guide. Find some blue MF items or friend to lift yo up. Go moat/county
